Brindabella Blues Football Club is proud to partner with Bella Monaro to strengthen development pathways for girls and young women in football across the ACT and surrounding regions.

This partnership is built on a shared commitment to providing safe, inclusive, and high-quality football experiences while ensuring players have access to clear pathways that match their aspirations, ability, and stage of development.

 

What the Partnership Means

• Pathways with purpose:
  Players who demonstrate the desire and readiness to progress to higher-performance environments have the opportunity to trial and develop with Bella Monaro, which competes in the National Premier League (NPL) Girls competition.

• Right football at the right time:
  Brindabella Blues remains focused on community football, participation, and enjoyment, while Bella Monaro provides an elite pathway for players seeking a higher-intensity training and competition environment.

• Player-centred development:
  Movement between clubs is guided by player wellbeing, development readiness, and family consultation. There is no one-size-fits-all approach.

• Stronger outcomes for girls’ football:
  By working together, both clubs reduce barriers, improve retention, and ensure girls can see a clear future in the game—whether their goal is community participation or elite competition.
